The scholarships are only awarded to students who have registered their thesis and are financially needy. The scholarships support foreign students at Ulm University, who are nearing graduation and in need through no fault of their own.
The scholarship is awarded once for a period of up to one semester and amounts to 300 EUR per month.

Matching funds
emergency aids
Foreign students at Ulm University, who have
not received any other scholarships and run into financial difficulties through
no fault of their own, may apply for a matching funds emergency aid.
The amount and duration of the scholarship are
based on the relevant situation of the applicant and the available funds. The
award and amount of scholarships are decided by the International Office of Ulm
University. It is a short-term and one-time funding, not a permanent
scholarship. The length of the grant is up to one semester.
Applicants must pursue their studies
successfully and be financially needy. The scholarship is awarded once for a

Scholarships

other students, the University or society
In each semester Ulm University offers
"Scholarships for Students and Doctoral Candidates Honoring Activities for
the Benefit of other Students, the University or Society" to support
foreign students who will finish their studies in Ulm.
The scholarships are only awarded to senior
students who have studied at least two semesters at the university.
Applicants must pursue their studies
successfully and be financially needy. The scholarship is combined with a minor
job of consulting foreign students.
The scholarship is awarded for a period of up
to one semester (a maximum of six months) and amounts to 250 EUR per month.
